As a disability advocate, I think it’s appalling how many people are fine letting disabled folks starve because they think “survival of the fittest” means we should die.

I'll repost this start of the thread because there's little use getting caught up in price semantics.
The video games industry is a five-alarm fire and has been for a while. Higher prices for AAA games might not be a great option but it's one of the few viable ones.

this hasn't really broken through to most people but the state of the games industry is *dire* right now.
I don’t talk about it much because the situation doesn’t really change but it’s still insane to me what an enormous amount of really talented game developers are out of work. just whole studios worth of incredible people, often people who worked on beloved games, unemployed.
