That's how it is with my library. Like they have the entire second "First Law" trilogy by Josh Abercrombie, but none of the first or the standalones. They have book 4 of "Rivers of London" by Ben Aaronovitch, but no others. I could keep going. Like I get underfunding and all, but it's not consistent

They have the 4th "Rivers of London" book, but none of the others. They have One Piece volumes 8-15, but no others. They have Berserk Deluxe 3, but none of the others. They have the second "First Law" trilogy by Joe Abercrombie, but not the first trilogy or the standalones

It's across all genres and it's not consistent with what they do have at all. Like the thing that sparked this was looking for "The Body Never Lies" by Alice Miller, i knew that was niche-ish.

But then they have NONE of the Expanse books, but do have "The Mercy Of Gods" by the same author.

Overall, the book was legitimately nothing like I was expecting and widely felt like a quickly thrown together pitch deck from an extremely talented writer. I don't know what (at least) 9 more sequels could possibly do, or if they're all standalones. I think there was potential, but work was needed.
