My husband works out in the burbs and usually picks me up from the nearest Metra station if we're heading to a family event after his shift. Some people look at me like a lost puppy when we tell them I took the train.

True enough, though I always wonder if it's a chicken-or-the-egg situation when a low ridership station also receives low service.

But maybe some of these should just be consolidated (looking at you, LaVergne-Berwyn-Harlem).

One of the reasons I hope Metra doesn't go with the N/W/S letter scheme. It doesn't seem intuitive or helpful to go from two "West" lines to three.
