We also have these weird things called "Townships" which subdivide the county services and add an extra layer of chaos. We could honestly consolidate all the municipalities into the townships and it would be a lot cleaner.

Obvious kudos for making another station accessible!
But I also can't help but feel depressed that we're probably not gonna see a rebuild of the rest of the Forest Park Branch anytime soon. 81% of the track is under slow zones and it seems like there's no plan to fix it.

Consistent arrivals every hour should be the bare minimum for regional rail. Frequency is freedom, and I'm glad Metra realizes that people want to take the train on weekends too.

I highly recommend the California Zephyr to anyone who is interested! It's a great way to see some of America's beauty, from deserts, to forests, to rocky mountains, and farmland prairies.

In retrospect, maybe I should've done some research and realized that Edinburgh is ridiculously busy during the month of August because it's festival season.
(Yes, I know, I'm a tourist complaining about other tourists.)
Still, this is one of the most beautiful cities I've ever been to.

Embarking on my first weekday express BNSF trip! I'm heading out to a family dinner which will take me to Metra's busiest station outside of downtown: the scenic park-n-ride lots at Route 59. 🚆

All things considered, I'm glad to work for a company that isn't backing down from its pro-LGBTQ stance. Our Q+ Employee Group decorated the break room for Pride Month!
We even have an office in Salt Lake City that isn't afraid to participate (given Utah's hostility toward rainbow flags).

It's the middle of the afternoon on a Tuesday and this #90 Harlem bus is packed. Absolutely disgraceful that we are even considering service cuts.
