I also finished Death of the Author by Nnedi Okorafor, a story of a Nigerian American author who achieves fame writing a post apocalyptic sci-fi novel. Really enjoyed the twisting nature of the story but I'm still pondering how I feel about the ending #RootRootRead

I read Human Acts, by Han Kang, Nobel Prize winner in 2024. It told of the Gwangju Pro-democracy Uprising and resulting massacre in S. Korea in 1980 through a series of interconnected stories revolving around the death of a young boy. A haunting read on a topic I knew nothing about. #Rootrootread

My book with a mostly blue cover was The Life Impossible by Matt Haig. It was alright but didn't really come together like Midnight Library. The framing device didn't really work for the story at all. #RootRootRead

I did the audiobook of Colin Jost's A Very Punchable Face. It was enjoyable to pass the time but not much more than that. #RootRootRead

My book which takes place during a war was The Women by Kristin Hannah. The portion that took place during the Vietnam War was incredibly gripping. Didn't enjoy the post war stuff as much but overall a good read #roottootread
