Very cool! Don’t want to be the ‘what-pen-guy’, but very curious how you do those white rain drops? I have tried many white pens but they are usually too translucent.

This week was the Dutch Week of Children’s Books. At my daughter’s school there was market where kids could trade their books and we found this gem. The illustrations are delightful!

And I have two questions that I keep thinking about: 1. Wasn't it better to just have someone else sit there in the hat and coat, facing away from the camera? 2. Did Spielberg know he was going to get away with this as he was shooting it...? (If you happen to run into him please ask him for me 😅)

For some reason the actor playing Major Toht wasn't available when they did this shot, so they ended up just replacing him with his signature hat and coat! And if you don't know it, you don't see it--
