I miss the days of strong leaders who stood firm on their principles.
The institutional Democratic Party is guided by an almost pathological level of conflict avoidance in almost every direction. “What can we do to make the least number of people mad?” is just a bankrupt way to operate.

I'm a Michigander, and there are many auto workers in our area. They aren't pleased with this situation.
I try not to criticize anybody who broadcasts live -- there's a reason I don't do it -- but of course there never was any such thing as an "EV Mandate."
Rep. Lisa McClain on CNN next to a ticker showing the stock market tanking for the third day this week: "It is going to take some unconventional methods to get us out of the mess we've been in the past four years with the EV mandates, with unfair trade. This shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone."
