Exactly… which is why I’m wondering just how much housing we are getting from the proposed amendment, and what that change means for other services.

Businesses and others are dumping trash at homeless sites as well… which is IMO much worse than having dumpsters misused. It’s also not okay to have our streets and sidewalks impassable for disabled folks. Ideally we have housing ready for people, but in the meantime there’s a balance to find.

Yes, and on balance, the housing is more important! 😊

Fair enough… but if we could transition to trash removal without sweeps, perhaps more could happen that way.

Very glad the tree was saved… AND, after living somewhere that didn’t have off-street parking and having this happen to our parked, brand new electric vehicle (it was in the shop for over a year after this hit and run right next to our Portland home)… I do like off-street parking options, too. ❤️🌲🚗

The headline should read, “government tells states to immediately start starving people.”

How much housing would the amendment actually provide for our thousands of homeless people? I’d like to hear clarification on the cut for trash removal part as well - because our neighborhoods and disabled folk are suffering. My understanding is that the IRP also helps connect people to services…?

My opinion: For most people with CPTSD, there are not enough therapy hours or budget available to do all of the work that (impossibly) needs to be done. I think that if fantasy/reality awareness is maintained, risks acknowledged, and real relationships are not neglected, AI might help bridge a gap.

The fact that we resonate with things is why movies use low frequency sounds (infrasound) to make us feel uneasy. 😂
(Sorry… I’m a sound nerd…) 😅

So sorry for your loss. I dread losing my own service dog someday. I know there are many other good dogs; I just hope he lasts as long as possible. 💕

So sorry you’re dealing with this.
Wish I was surprised; my experiences with numerous hospitals when caring for my mom before she died were not encouraging. We found that we had to have someone present almost all the time just to keep negligence minimal and to tell people to read the chart.

I think there are probably a lot of fascists out there who genuinely think they are doing good but have exceptionally poor judgement of what is good. Inadvertently and persistently evil but also clueproof. Driving records might show a similar pattern - persistent proof of bad judgement.

For anyone who says, “But Hamilton and other founding fathers were awful!” YES. Exactly. Go look that stuff up.
Also, revel in some brilliant wordplay and catchy tunes that have totally revolutionized Broadway musicals. I also adore the Mirandas as people, and people aren’t and can’t be perfect. 💕

I love it and always will in part because of the ways it asks us to interrogate the main character, to question the story about how our nation was built, and how it opened doors for performers of color to be protagonists in stories that were previously off-limits to them. Its imperfection is great.

Yes, and that might also be the least of the inaccuracies on the so-called map. 😂
