I’ve been suggesting on TV and podcasts—without actual evidence(!)—that it may turn out that DOJ will wind up not having enough lawyers to defend all the lawsuits challenging this administration’s illegal conduct.

I’m positive you all saw the video from Coeur d’Alene, where a woman was pulled out of her seat and arrested by men who claimed to be sheriff deputies, but were not in uniform.
I need the men to do something: When you see a woman being abused, step in. Step up. Get in the way. Put your body to use.

Some of my seasonal national park service Rangers who's job offers in Alaska parks for the summer had been rescinded when the hiring freeze was announced, were called late Wednesday and told their job offers were reinstated. I do not know how broad this is right now.

The volunteers-in-parks program is at a critical crossroads. I have been doing this for 10 years. Do we show up this summer and try to help keep things open at NPS, USFS, USACE, BLM, & USFWS sites, or do we skip the season, enabling more chaos and closures that could get some people reinstated.

Just want to remind everyone that Andrew Jackson defied a SCOTUS ruling protecting the Cherokee from removal, and NO ONE did ANYTHING to stop him. NO ONE. so we have been here before, and it did not end well.
