After a long pause, I've just done another England Covid & NHS update as we head into the autumn/winter season.
TLDR: we're in a significant Covid wave now, the NHS is stretched, get boosted if you're eligible.

Hello @octopus.energy Emailed 6/1/25 as my IHD doesn't work and electricity readings don't update automatically in the app (gas fine)Supplied info and was told it was being escalated and would be 3-5 days. Chased and on 21/2/25 was told it was being worked on. Tumbleweed since.

Hello @sarahsloat.bsky.social, just read your Guardian Staying healthy over 60 piece. If you're writing about health in the UK you should know that Health is devolved in Scotland. We are offered bowel cancer tests from age 50, in England it's 54, soon to become 50.
