Deep-sea loving Grimpoteuthis showed up a couple of times recently during dives with Ægir 6000 in Arctic waters. 🐙

Did you know the ocean is separated into layers? Water has different densities. Cold water is heavier than warm water. Freshwater is lighter than saline or brackish water. Because of this the ocean becomes layered. You can test this out at home with soap, water and other liquids🧪🌊
