Threw together a pasta sauce with tomatoes, mushrooms, roasted garlic, & onions. Let it simmer for a few hours, then added red pepper flake, a touch of cream & pasta water.
Topped with parm and a fancy olive oil from Italy.
Perfect for a cold evening.

I’m currently watching Out Chef’d on Food Network. I’m digging it. I like Eddie Jackson as a host… not loud and obnoxious and has good energy.

I’ve watched ZERO news since the election & it’s been a life saver.
I’m so grateful I live in the woods & can tune out as much as I want to. I’m practically a recluse (with minor exceptions) and I’m 1000% okay with that.
I absolutely hate where we are and how we got here.

Recovering from cooking all the food, eating all the food, drinking more than usual, and being the hostess w/ the mostest for 7 days.
I feel like a mack truck has hit me.
Thankfully, the w/e is here & I can do absolutely nothing ‘til Monday.
Then, it’s back to regular scheduled programming.
