After launching the effort to ban TikTok in 2020, Trump will now take credit for eventually saving it, and TikTok is going along with it

No person in the history of this country has ever used the presidency & running for office to personally enrich himself more than Trump. Crypto, social app, Bibles, shoes, picture books, watches NFTs - an endless list. And he’s not even close to being done cashing in.

Trump started the TikTok ban, but has now flipped-flopped to play the hero while looking to enrich new owners (his donors).

There is nothing in this post about protecting American’s data, Trump’s original justification for the ban.

Trump hated TikTok (because China) until it helped him win an election (as even he acknowledges) and now he’s going to save it and take a victory lap. So he’ll have X, TikTok, Insta, and Facebook all working on his behalf. That’s a big difference between now and 2017.
