Thanks for your assistance out there!," Elodie chirps holding her helmet, "How old are you two anyway?" "16!" Alisaie and Alphinaud answer in unison. [PANEL 2] Zoom in on Elodie's face, she is horrified upon hearing this. Sixteen is too young to be on the battlefield. [PANEL 3] "Hey Thancred, were you aware that the twins are only 16?" Elodie approaches him later that evening, "They're literally child soldiers!" [PANEL 4] "Oh yeah, it's fine though!" he assures his ally. "Besides I was way younger when I started piloting a mobile suit!" Elodie remains silent, processing what she just heard. "Don't forget they have college degrees!" Thancred adds on thinking that suddenly makes it better.

"Sorry," Gaius tries to laugh off his mistake, "Ulfur was curious..." He surely won't be making this mistake again. A 5-year-old Ulfur is hanging off Gaius' shoulder, frozen in fear over the rare sight of Elodie being displeased. They can barely string the thought together, "S-Scary Mama!" "Sorry ma'am!!" a teenage Ulfur yelps, "It won't happen again!" He can't help but feel a feeling of déjà vu wash over him. "I warned you..." Gaius mutters. (Spoilers: Despite Ulfur 'a statement, this will probably happen again.)

"What did I say a put polishing gunblades in the living room?" Elodie stands with her arms crossed, looking uncharacteristically displeased. Allie stands to the side of her, holding Bunc'ee, she can't help but feel bad. Elodie might be lax about a lot, but she does not like it when one breaks her rules concerning equipment maintenance in a shared living space. Now... Is she fussing at Gaius or Ulfur? That's up to the viewer.

Set in a Gundam/Mecha AU, please humor this self-indulgence. "For our paths to once again cross like this..." Gaius mutters, holds his hands up in air, "The universe has a sick sense of humor." He tries not to make any sudden movements. While he knows Elodie is no longer the fresh cadet he crossed paths all those years ago, he knew better than to test a soldiers' trigger disapline. "Let's hope you have the conviction to finish me off time, Orange Flash." Was he mocking her? Perhaps it was a poor attempt of goading her? "I'm sorry," Elodie raises an eyebrow, "but have we met before?" Gaius sighs, "I suppose the years haven't been kind to me." "Five years ago..." realizing he's being too vague, "The Battle of Prae." A jolt of memories flash through her mind. "The Black Wolf!?" The image of Gaius from five years ago flashes before her. He is wearing a Garlean styled mask, the look signature to all Legatus of the Empire. "Unfortunately." Gaius' comment snaps her back to the present. The once feared sword of the empire was now a broken man....

(Heavy Baelfort vibes) Elodie is an Earth Federation pilot but has the top part of her suit tied around her waist. Gaius is a Zeon pilot, has one arm around her waist. His helmet floats in the foreground. One can assume that tensions were high between these two being from opposing sides but moments prior. But the atmosphere must have done a quick shift for them to be in such a compromising position now. "Meguriai" is the ending theme of Mobile Suit Gundam III: Encounters in Space.

(Strong Harchedie vibes) [PANEL 1] Elodie teasing Alphinaud in Starlight Celebration gear. [PANEL 2] Haurchefant looking longingly at Elodie as Tataru notices this. Time to step it up and be the wingman these two need. [PANEL 3] Zoom out. Tataru calls out to Elodie, saying that Haurchefant needs her assistance. Mistletoe hangs above in between them. [PANEL 4] Elodie walks over to Haurchefant, unaware that she is standing under mistletoe. Haurchefant chuckles to himself, amused that the viera is unaware that Tataru set her up to be smooched. [PANEL 5] Haurchefant plants a kiss on the cheek cause Elodie would combust if he went for the lips. Elodie's head is empty and her is flushed. [PANEL 6] Tataru is annoyed. Her efforts are wasted on these two.

Set sometime after the The Sorrow of Werlyt Questline, during 5.5 (around the "For Vengeance" Quest?) in Shadowbringers. (Light Baelfort vibes) PAGE 5 -[PANEL 27] She is off in her own little world as Estinien walks away to join Alphinuad. [PANEL 28] "Estinien." [PANEL 29] "Thank you." The words awkwardly leave her mouth but they feel right. [PANEL 30] "Should one expect word of another scandalous sighting of the Warrior of Light at Terncliff in the coming days then?" he teases her one last time. The air between them is different now, all past grievances put to rest. Things are even. [PANEL 31] "Well... in time..." she stutters, "But, err..." PAGE 6 - [PANEL 32] "I need to take a small detour back to Ishgard after we report back to the rising stones. There's a few things that I've been putting off for far too long and..." Elodie fiddles her hands, "It doesn't feel right to move on without finding proper closure." [PANEL 33] "I owe myself-- NO. I owe others that much." [PANEL 34] "I see..." Estinien catches the hint. That reminds me," she shifts gears in an attempt to lighten the mood, "you should consider visiting Alberic while I'm in Ishgard." "Why?" "I think he would appreciate a visit." "I'd rather not." "Pardon the intrusion," Alphinaud resigning to his third wheel status, jumps into the conversation with no context, "is there something wrong in Ishgard?"
