Shockingly, it was released in the West. My own 'Black Myth: Wukong' back then. 😄

Mine is 'Saiyuki: Journey West', a tactical RPG released for the PlayStation by Koei in 1999, loosely based - obviously! - on the Chinese classic 'Journey to the West'.
