YES, I've seen people imply it's always been a certain baseline level of bad (homophobia etc) but even in current circumstances it's so much better than it was in terms of just...casual background noise homophobia

people misunderstand using reference isn't because you can't draw it yourself but rather so you get accurate details and build up your visual library, you're not always copying it "as is" the whole time either 🙄

Striking Vipers, USS Calister, Nosedive and Sam Junipero are some less heavy episodes I found enjoyable (its anthology so they can be watched independently)

when I was in higshcool, just before the iPhone took off stories of boys sharing explicit pics that spread throughout schools was a cautionary tale for girls AND YET no one ever, at any stage considered that the boys sharing them at ANY point in the chain were responsible for their actions

its perfectly fine to be annoyed by characters who are shit people, (I know I am) the difference is to a certain extent that's a personal taste, its when people criticise the depiction itself and not look at it in the context of the work itself

also the shading/rendering is consistent and somewhat "loose" and to me doesnt have the "AI Look"..people really need to actually know how to look at the signs (albeit harder to pick out) instead of labelling anything with a bit of rendering/shading AI it's getting ridiculous
