When I was little, the U.S. military came to our home at gunpoint and took me and my family away. We were imprisoned for years in barbed wire camps simply because we were Japanese American. I have spent my life telling that story, hoping it would never be repeated.

Trump created an environment of instability where it's impossible to make long term plans. Whether you're a company, investor, or anyone working to put food on the table.
The GOP only promises you more of this. If you want stability, you have to vote for it by voting them out.

In reality, the 1960s manufacturing economy MAGA influencers appear to be celebrating depended on high rates of unionization and taxation, and on government investing heavily in infrastructure, including healthcare and education.

I stood to say the Pledge of Allegiance at my school this morning, just like we do everyday. But when it got to "liberty and justice for all", I sorta choked. Thinking about people being ripped from their family and jobs and sent to a harsh prison without due process makes me question this part.

I’ve watched enough mafia movies to know that if you’re gonna shakedown a pillar of the community, you do it in private, you make it clear they’re not to tell anyone, maybe you put a couple of your goons on the front door so no one comes in. Because it’s shameful.
