Brushes with greatness: this charming fellow went to high school the next town over from me. I thought we maybe played lacrosse against each other, but he’s actually younger than me. I found this clipping while cleaning out my parents house (my mom is the previous profile in the article).

97 degrees out! I’m glad my wife made me pony up for seats under the shell. Feel sorry for the people in lawn seats. And the old people. Including Mike and Bruce, hope they survive.

Caught FIVE MURMURATIONS at the Smithsonian Museum of African Art. Two giant thumbs up for both the film/installation/whatever and the museum. Worth the trip!
