@mikeflanaganfilm.com would you ever consider doing a remake of Rose Red? It’s one our favourite television mini series alongside Haunting of Hill house which was nothing short of perfection imho. Rose red still holds up but, I would be very curious how you would tackle it.

I want to learn game development for something like a c64. Now there are tons of resources online. But I’d love to find a private tutor to guide me. I learn faster if someone shows me and helps me.

Aaaaaarrrghhh all I need is a simple shop/cms for maybe 1 product and recurring payments. I thought woo commerce would be ok. But recurring requires a license of too much. Suggestions welcome. Not looking forward to building my own stuff.

EMacs is ❤️. But my lord do I feel awkward with some basic stuff. Got my local variables working in an org file (thanks @johnhamelink.bsky.social ) but now they keep rendering under my last heading in the file instead of staying neatly at the beginning of the line. And no way to get it aligned again

My first setup of my dotfiles in EMacs is almost done. Tangle is like magic and org mode is still my favourite modes. Been using it again recently now I need to find a proper EMacs/Org client for iOS. Any recommendations are welcome.

Oh no my @kagi.com trial is going to expire. I’m really tempted to get a subscription because it’s truest an amazing experience. However I might not be able to afford it just yet as other priorities come first.
But after using it for a month I’m convinced this is a true google replacement.

I'm trying to get confident with VIM bindings (in Jetbrains tools). But somehow I think I'm so used to classic mode that I probably will never learn this to be as quick and efficient.

Last pass was already a truly horrible application. But today I got the notification they are moving away from the desktop app to the Safari extension. Who in their right mind decided that was a good idea? Thankfully at the end of the month I’ll have a new job that does not require last pass.

Keep trying to find alternatives to the jetbrains editors but any other editor just pales in comparison. I’ve tried to become friend with NeoVim, VS Code, Zed Editor, Helix, EMacs. And while many of these seem to come close it’s just not worth the countless hours of configuring.

A little disappointed with @kagi.com search…. I cannot throw the ball for doggo.
On a serious note, I’m able to try it out and so far it’s looking great while paying for a search provider still seems odd the results so far proof otherwise.

OK macOS this is a weird UX implementation. What does the dock have to do with the task switcher, just have the mouse cursor determine on which monitor I want to use cmd+tab. Why do I have to show the dock first?

#retro computing community. What is your white whale when it comes to collecting? Ik not a collector yet but mine would be an IBM ps/2 model 70 with a 486. Complete with monitor keyboard etc.

About Nosferatu. It’s one of the most conflicting movies for me. It looks great. But Lilly Rose Depp brings down the entire movie by her terrible acting and camera presence. There are great scenes in this movie but also laughable scenes (in a bad way). I expected so much more.
