I feel like he’d enjoy this. But as someone who loved collecting art and point blank refused to play electric piano on You’re My Best Friend because he couldn’t understand why anyone would do that when grand pianos exist, he’d think NFTs were stupid

Coin collecting is one of those things I just can’t even imagine being interested in but it’s definitely better than the Freddie NFTs.

And then I sent the entirety of February actively rooting for Boris and the Tories to do a heroically impressive job of handling it despite hating them because I knew the potential cost. But they didn’t do that, and 200,000 people died.

To be clear, *I* quarantined myself after because I didn’t want to be the one to bring it to the UK. But definitely no one made me or even took notice of the fact I’d come from the second-worse infected province outside the one Wuhan is in.

I didn’t even get stopped for passport control, I just scanned it. The only thing that happened when we landed was they sprayed disinfectant inside the plane, and I’m not sure if that was a UK government policy or the Chinese airline’s.

I went from having my temperature checked every time I entered a building or even got on the bus and having to give my details before boarding the plane in case there was a single case on there they would want to track back to and wearing mask constantly to…absolutely nothing.

I think it’s partly that it’s a nice school so I’m not fighting any big behaviour fires whilst teaching but it is nice to be this comfortable on just my first placement. I’ve got two more to go (one in this school again) so hopefully everything stays on course like this

I have my professional mentor (much more important person in the school) observing me soon so let’s hope it’s a lesson like that
