trading stack is now 87% btc and 13% 2x btc long. setting an alert for 112k and going to do other things for a while

doubters can only sell their bitcoin once before having to rebuy. compared to hundreds of trillions of dollars of potential purchasing power. it’s going to be hard to keep bitcoin down forever

power law trend continues. slow grind to a million

updated 5 year chart of the 30-day volatility index for #bitcoin. we got the volatility, just not in the direction most people wanted

realized i hadn’t posted a trading stack update with the back injury distraction. last month had sold off my remaining btc miners to derisk and was at roughly 75% btc & 25% cash. been buying back into just btc. now at 88% btc, 7% cash, & an exploratory 5% 2x btc long. probably adding more risk soon

drops like this are exactly why taking advantage of the good times is important. getting out of debt by gradually selling a portion of your stack should mean that, when the dips keep dipping and fear takes hold, you’re not forced to sell low. plus, you’ll have the freedom of choice for future buys
as we get further in the cycle, reminder to take care of any bad finances you've done over the years as you've worked to accumulate more btc. credit card debt? sell some and pay it off. 401k loan? sell some and pay it off. you want your finances in a good spot for buying a future bear market bottom

riding the bottom of the channel that we’ve been in since July. #bitcoin

several billion in longer term leverage liquidity down to about 82k. it'll be interesting to see if the powers that be try to force us down that far to gobble up those funds. if so, they're going to be walking a fine line between their own greed and risking people losing interest going forward
November 16, 2025 at 5:06 PM
talking with friends last night. each said if btc hits ~$150k & there's an altseason, they're planning to sell for good and never buying crypto again, including btc.

not sure how popular this thinking is but, if it's widespread, why would price continue pumping at all to give doubters that exit?

after threatening the bottom of the channel it’s been in for 20 years, the US dollar index (DXY) bounced over the last month.

do you think it’s coincidence that #bitcoin hasn’t performed well over the last month? longer term, does it makes sense for the US dollar to increase in relative value?
November 14, 2025 at 6:57 PM
8 months ago at 75k, did you take advantage of the opportunity before we went to 120k+? is this time at 94k different?
are you feeling really fearful right now? historically those have been times of great opportunity, as long as you break out of the short-term mindset
November 14, 2025 at 3:45 PM
good bounce from the channel bottom, which is what we’d like to see. are you going to take advantage of this opportunity or are you bearish about bitcoin “crashing” all the way down to ninety-four thousand unbacked and relentlessly printed US dollars? #bitcoin

anyone following for a while knows there’s only one plan: hold bitcoin until it gets to an unsustainably high level then temporarily sell, with the goal of buying back in lower if possible.

it’s always about accumulating more bitcoin. buying more when it’s cheap is just as good, but more painful
November 14, 2025 at 2:16 AM
still ranging in the same boring channel as we have been for the last several months. are you going to get shaken out? #bitcoin
November 13, 2025 at 9:06 PM
can’t find a good reason to be bearish here. in a bull market, red days are for buying and, as such, my bonus check just secured more sats.

current opinion is that market makers don’t want people thinking the 4 year cycle is true. therefore, getting into 2026 before euphoria is allowed is a must
November 13, 2025 at 8:56 PM
since September (even May depending how much you zoom out), price action has been pretty boring and still ranging. with the October 10th major manipulation event, it’s going to take some time to get upward momentum back. the fed is signaling that the money printers will be starting up again soon
has the market done enough to make 110k feel cheap yet? it’s starting to feel that way. usually for this i look one tier higher, and 120k doesn’t feel very cheap. so I think continuing to range between 105-125k for a while could be a good thing
November 12, 2025 at 3:18 PM
there hasn't been a 20%+ gain since july. showing how volatility has decreased over time, we're currently in the 2nd biggest lull since 2016, with the prior biggest lull being august 2022 to january 2023.

this isn't what precedes a bear market. the bull market finale is still yet to come. #bitcoin
November 8, 2025 at 7:20 AM
finally able to add our first -20% line since april. similar to other bull runs, we've gone very long stretches between big drops. #bitcoin
November 8, 2025 at 7:14 AM
seemingly still following the same trend from 2023. sideways and down until we don't, and ultimately up again. feels like we'll have resolution of the channel well before february but it's an interesting view of things. #bitcoin
November 8, 2025 at 6:57 AM
to add injury to insult, not only did we have a crazy pull back but i also had a bad back injury about a month ago. first time back at my PC since then. following price action a little but it's been a great time to step away for a while and not over trade. still waiting on 120k for major moves

going back to touch-grass mode for a while. see you guys at 120k
if there's a bright side, i've talked about that damn liquidity at 107k for months now. ripping off that band-aid means one less reason we need to head down. i know it doesn't feel that way but that's bullish.

set a price alert for 120k and step away from the charts for a while. we'll all be okay.

in the last month, 2 out of the 7 main traders i respect said they sold for the cycle. i think history will show they sold too early.

although, these 2 in particular timed the 2021 peak well and went all in at 16k, so it’s hard to blame them for securing the ~7x if they feel they hit their number

we’re now about 60 days into that now. gold seems to have topped but we’ll see. if a risk-on narrative can stick, we should see rotation from gold to bitcoin within the next 30 days
for the last two years gold has gone on a run and then bitcoin has caught up shortly thereafter. we look to be in a stretch with gold leading now. those gold runs have been between 60-90 days and we look to be about 30 days in now. if the pattern follows, #bitcoin should see a catch-up phase in Q4
