I guess I disagree. Using ChatGPT, ESPECIALLY for someone who is just learning, is the exact wrong thing to do. An experienced coder can see the slop it spews and point out every part that is wrong. A newbie is just going to take it at its word. There are SO MANY free resources online. Don't use AI.

Adding: Yeah, it's not really "like a calculator" at all. A calculator follows precise formulas to achieve the answer it gives. ChatGPT and similar just associate keywords with code that someone else has written and vomit out an often VERY incorrect response. It's damaging our field as much as art.
