Well social media is privately owned, so the first amendment does not apply. But an open discussion is a good thing. We just need to find a way to stop disinformation from getting us to this bad place again. No more dark money in politics will go a long way to fixing it, for example.

How quaint! Thinking that the Repugs would ever allow Dems to be president again. We are in an awful situation that everyone needs to recognize. We can get out, but it's becoming more and more difficult the longer this administration and Stepehn Miller are allowed to run things.
