I got to visit a magical spot I used to enjoy in the 80s & 90s- Eldorado Springs pool. It was so healing and restorative! It was built in 1905 and has the artesian spring water with minimum of chlorine and the pool was restored a few years ago but keeps the historic character.

Had some lovely family time for the holidays. Our daughter Althea visited. We had some cozy time at home with her and bongo playing guitar; made some nice meals; saw holiday lights at our city’s garden; and played with our dog Bo Diddley. Nice to have a few days off and stay home! Althea’s pix.

The thing I do every year for the holidays is make tie-dye paper and give it to family, friends and coworkers. I learned to do this years ago from artist Sherry Hart. It’s a labor of love and it brings joy in the making, giving and receiving.

I have been doing some hand sewing projects. It is relaxing to work on them. I started doing a “15 minutes of sewing a day” project making a fabric book with artist Ann Wood. I found her on Instagram. 3 month project. I got the vessel idea from her website Ann Wood handmade. Nice community there.
