the median political reporter is a centrist liberal whose coverage is slanted right for fear of bias accusations and/or warped professional norms. Nuzzi, like Jeremy Peters, is somewhat unusual in that she is a flagrant reactionary who tells flattering lies about far-right freaks
Personally I think we should not let Nuzzi's bad ethics distract too much from the fact that her reporting was also bad.
