Engineers from companies laying off replaced by AI should start their own company recruit ALL the engineers. Become consultants for these companies. People value people companies do not. I quit my job and work for my ex employers. I work less but make more money. They need you take advantage.

My thoughts on AI - We have Tufts health insurance and when they switched to 2025 my husbands shows up in the system with his coverage ending on 01/31/25 so he couldn't get his prescriptions. Tufts said yes he's covered but the computer system had a glitch when updating renewals.
