i couldn’t stop talking about this after i got back from visiting victoria. i chatted with their staff for a while to get the whole lowdown on the operation.

i love the idea of strolling through a store with my bike, but i don’t think i’d ever do it. sigh.
i did, however, consider locking my bike to the shopping cart corral, if that counts.

i live in seattle with an 18 mile commute on my HSD, each way. the distance and hills keeps me from trying to do round trip on a single charge with. 500 battery. i always plug in at the office. i am wanting a 700.

5. Kid: “We should have biking class as an elective.” Me: “oh yeah? Say more.” Kid: “well, not everyone can buy a car when they grow up and we should still know how to get around on our bikes because it’s fun and you learn a lot when you go around to new places” 🚲❤️well.. I’m sold!❤️🚲

i don’t think this even begins to tip the scales on outlandish….but it was serendipitous when i rode past the corner where this table had been put up for grabs and i was able to stop, secure it to my bike, and claim it as my own

i switched from having a specialized diverge with future shock dampening in the headset. i hadn’t realized how much vibration it was smoothing out. now adding the seat post + stem is comfort i had no idea i needed. combined with the top shelf handlebar from redshift, i’m a happy girl.

definitely a thing. probably not as much as some would make it out to be. from july to september it’s quite dry. but fair-weather-riding doesn’t get one very far here.

the pedals are double shot from crank brothers. platform on one side and SPD on the other.

rear rack from old man mountain, matcha green tires from gravelking, and custom frame painting done by seattle powder coat … all in all, it is pure joy on two wheels. looking to get some fenders, but otherwise i think i’m “finished”

@sundance.bikesky.social i promised i’d share photos when i was done with the build to see these purple brake calipers from paul components in their full glory. i’ve also got the brilliant cable cherries from forager cycles, anodized accents like headset spacers from wolftooth components,
