I think it's crazy that when Cloud and co. are battling the Arbiters of Fate (the literal, antagonistic personification of destiny) at the end of Remake, the music uses a famous motif from the Final Fantasy end credits song.

They are fighting against the OG's end credits.

I love the Rebirth iteration, don't get me wrong. But there's a sort of maturity about OG Aeris's journey that will always be superior here; her growing isolation rather than growing camaraderie. I suppose Rebirth in general focused on bonds and friendship, hence reworking the focus of Aerith's arc.

This has got to be the stupidest anti-CA fanatic argument - that Cloud and Aerith are "like brother and sister." It was obvious that's not what Hamaguchi meant when he said Aerith has a sisterly personality.

They are obviously not brother and sister, guys. They have a romantic dynamic.
