I had a couple from my first visit in the early 90's, when they had much smaller cafe. They got better, though they were drunk within 8 years. I started to get more from 2003 when I moved to Belgium. The later ones I feel 15 years is about the maximum time, 10 being just about right.

I had a 20 year old bottle in the kulminator in 2004, that's why I started saving a few of these . The big question is how long will they keep? So far, they've beaten the aged westvleterens by a mile.

I have a couple of 2006's, 2007's and 2008's. It gets almost port like at that stage...

You may want to read the ingredients, if they're listed. Not at all a premium beer. Nothing good comes out of their brewery in leuven, Belgium. Can't see the UK version adding anything to it..
