creativity and making/fixing impractical stuff is very important to resistance as well! but we all already engage in so much talking/performance that it’s easy to be consumed by ragebait or caught up in optics, and im speaking from a survival/material needs point of view on this one.

I was listening to a pod in which a teacher (discussing constantly-fluctuating procedures in teaching) mentioned that she’d taught phonics, then was moved away from it for ~10 yrs, and then was moved BACK to teaching it recently, so a semi-generational gap in teaching + lockdown 100% tracks.
