I'm sitting in a field in East Sussex, camping. I have 3 different weather apps on my phone, all saying it's dry... it's raining.... same as last night. So much for these so-called supercomputers that can accurately predict the forecast. They don't even know what the weather is doing NOW!

Great Britain today. It's a filthy mess. This is at a lay-by on the Oxford Eastern By-pass near Kennington.

Just done a gearbox oil change on the lil Morris. I was running it on a 90 grade oil. It now has the correct 140 grade. Hopefully, I find it easier to change gear now.

It's a very special day for this wonderful little machine. 93 years ago today, it passed down the production line at the Morris Motors factory in #Cowley, #Oxford.

Popped down to Usk in Monmouthshire this morning (127-mile round trip) in the little Two-Seater Morris Minor for a (mostly) pre-war Morris meet-up. At 93 years old, the little Minor was the oldest and furthest travelled car there.

Mousa Broch, located on the tiny island of Mousa, one of the Shetland Islands. It's the most complete broch (defensive tower) in the whole of Scotland, which is home to the structures. It's well worth a visit for anyone visiting Shetland.

Summertime in Shetland is as glorious as winter, with many wild flowers carpeting the islands.

Just come across this photo on my Google account, showing Baltasound, Unst, Shetland Islands, from December 2013. I'd forgotten it was on there. I had only moved to Shetland in June. Sometimes, I wish I was still there. There's a beauty to the bleakness of the landscape that I deeply love.

Don't think I've ever known the Norrona to shelter off the coast of Shetland before. It's now passing between mainland Shetland and the island of Yell.

Got a missing bolt on the front of the Minor's engine. It appears that oil is leaking from it, as you can see with everything covered in oil, so I've managed to find a replacement bolt. I've doused everything in brake cleaner, so it's all nice and clean again. I'll fit the replacement bolt tomorrow.

Did not expect this in Worcester this morning. 😲
