The main thing is the Bettman part. Why did anyone possibly think having him front and centre all night would make for a good product? Not only is he generally hated, he’s boring and awkward as hell.

Way more Gary Bettman is awful. The zoom calls are bad. The fact that 75% of the seats are empty is a rough look. The lack of being able to keep an eye on the different team tables sucks.
