I don't doubt it. I just think (no matter how slapdash it is), it threatens the narrative that Lennon was too cutting edge for the Beatles and had to be free to fly his freak flag.

Most likely. Although I'm mostly curious if it's more interesting than Revolution 9. I think Paul would like to remind us that he was into avant garde years before John.
