Turns out that painting *after* cutting is applicable to acrylic and acrylic as well as wood, so this batch that I'm cutting is clear. Well, glass green acrylic 😉 I'm cutting it face side down, and the protective making is on the front. This video is actual speed!

Cutting puzzles today -- this one is acrylic, so I'm cutting it on a plastic grid to reduce flashback. Also cutting it upside down, can you see the word in reverse?
