There's something that I want to write about how the mainstream press doesn't understand these people not because they don't get the Youth with their discords and their 4chans, but because somebody like Ezra Klein treats politics in the exact same way but with a different tone.

Genuinely, sincerely...People late to understanding need to bear the shame of it. When the issues they were blind to are things like genocide, thats a choice, and its one they need to feel bad for making. When they were told, repeatedly, what was happening, they do not deserve immediate forgiveness

If this is the beginning of a long fight, fine. If this is the end, it's not fine. Time will tell. If the GOP can force a vote to repeal the ACA an average of 10 times a year for 7 straight years then the Dems should be expected to match that level of effort on something this meaningful.
