I guess the logic of "democrats can't do the things you claim to want if they aren't in power" feels sound on its face, but they miss the part that putting them in power when they openly declare they don't want to do any of those things also doesn't get you any closer to getting them done!

From about the early 1920s onward, Hirschfeld became a target of the far-right in Germany, including the Nazi Party. He was physically attacked during multiple incidents, including an incident in Munich on 4 October 1920 in which he was badly injured.
