Every argument used against Trans people in sports was used against Black people in sports. You would have likely been arguing the same things about them then. I don't care how "The Left" tells you this, you need to learn it. They don't need to be nice to you about it.

I don't think defund/abolish police is a bad idea because the public don't like it. I think its a bad idea because it would increase crime and crime is bad.

I don't think there's a tension between trans inclusion and fairness in sport because the public think that. I genuinely think one exists (how we resolve the tension is a more complex question).

The relevance of public opinion relates to how the left deals with people who hold opinions like mine. To me, it seems self-defeating to try and ostracise people who hold opinions which are also held by the vast majority of the public. You won't get change that way, and, I think, it leads to the left having a bunch of very poorly tested ideas.

But that's just my opinion. Over and out.
