This is what it boils down to.
People want validation for their head canons then pitch a fit when people don't see things the same way (whether it's the creators or other fans).
Rather than be Normal and do what fans have done for decades (write fanfics, ignore canon etc) they harass and bully.

People in fandom now need validation for their head canons. They need lore validated by “word of god”
