Several people have tried to make a quick buck by having AI write crochet and knitting patterns and yeah the danger is not that experienced makers will buy them. It’s that beginners will buy them, not realize that it’s the pattern and not them, and get so discouraged they never *become* experienced

I do think that it's always a good time to reflect on the fact that we either are or interact daily with people who are unnecessarily suffering, often in silence, due to the US healthcare system. Just because it's the stroke of a pen or algorithmic doesn't make it any less violent or dehumanizing.
