I've read some of his work; but it's a lot.

Can you point to the proof of this?

"Semiotics 101: Know that words point to other words more than they point to things."

The 'best' google result is below, but it points out words are a subset of communication.

I get my words from others.

Agree Denali is the 'older' name.
My point stands, it's official name 'Federation' name is McKinley.
Like the 'Federation' name of Rigel 3 isn't what the Locals call it.

You don't.

Computer speech to text exists.

Curious what the percentage of 'haters' is.

The post implies 100%; but obviously false.

Without context, it's very hard to understand.

Translation issue?

'Earth' in Klingon probably is 'Sol 3'.

For language, when a 'local' name conflicts with a 'foreign' existing name=label; does the 'foreign' name-label get updated to the local name-label?

Mt. McKinley vs. Denali is an example. Why change from Mckinley to Denali?

Thank you. Never traveled to that part of Canada; so didn't know the 'had' prairies.

Sadly; those books are for 'owning' not reading.

Hard to read A book from the 'pile' without disturbing the rest.

Plus books behind artwork and a Landline phone.

Congrads! Happy for ya!

Clearly, you'll never be rich.

To answer; the point is profit. Wealth comes before happiness for some. And many of those are owners.

Do you know why Canada has the big white space of no forest in the middle of their country?
Doubtful that's from Human activity.... but not 100% sure.

Have you seen the price of Health Care?

Spending on fitness is 'cheap' in comparison.

Enjoy the uber-short stories; rather than complex novel which you won't know IF it's good until spending at least 15 minutes.

"The world no longer trusts America. "
True.

But we'll remain the leading innovator. Too many people passionately hate the overt racism.
And there's still plenty of nations more homophobic.

How is it a problem? Yes, the cover doesn't match; but the words are far more important than the picture.

It will be interesting to see if book 2 gets checked out more/less than the others.

Curious what the Terms and Conditions say. I own a Tesla, but have opted out for feedback.

They could push an option to cars asking permission to use the GPU when the vehicle is charging

For clarity,, agree Stress is morally good?
(assuming not too much)

Changing the sensory env. to capture this directedness can fail, correct?
Failure reasons include 'overuse'?
Aka, an alteration of our existing equilibrium (stress).

And correct, you don't mention capture 'fails' in your paper.

'we' is poorly defined.

Some humans do. Very wide swath of what people believe. 'We' needs to be narrowed, to make your statement true.
November 15, 2025 at 2:57 PM
Your request is formed wrongly.

Next time, please post.

"Sad! There haven't ANY major new theoretical papers in....!"

People will then correct you with the paper's your looking for.

"As such the attention market poses a threat to self-determination and autonomy. "
True; but irrelevant.

Stress helps grow a person.
You're arguing Stress is morally wrong.

Do you truly believe that?

Also; awesome paper, even though I disagree on the morality aspect.

Gov't has the option of doing work; because it's cheaper than private.
Garbage collection is a gov't activity in many cities because it's cheaper to have a single collector, vs multiple competing collectors.
