New mums may find they have less time to prepare food, but it’s important that they get the energy and nutrients that they need, even if they end up having more frequent, smaller snacks rather than main meals.

❗ We’ve updated our Eating Well for New Mums guide, last updated in 2020, to reflect the latest advice and support for new mums.

The guide highlights the importance of eating well for new mums and answers some FAQs new breastfeeding mums may have about eating and drinking.
