We are happy to announce a new patent at Fablab RUC. As all of you with robot vacuum cleaners know, the dirtiest place in the house rapidly becomes: the top of the robot vacuum cleaner itself. It cleans everywhere else, but not its own upper floor.

We have feminine hygiene products available at FabLab RUC - inspired by Studenterhuset RUC and University of Copenhagen. Done the simple way: CNC cut shelf, products paid for by refund bottles left by students.

Want to make one yourself? Design is available here: www.thingiverse.com/thing:6930326

A super interesting aspect of working in a lab used by many students every day is the large number of intriguing things being printed *which we don't know what are* :)

It is great seeing signs made at Fablab RUC being useful all around campus. The future is here - anyone can make physical objects themselves, not only print on paper.

Merry laser cut Christmas and happy new year!
Our first opening day with employees is 6/1.
But there are students in the lab working hard right now.

A nice student gave us this 3D printed model of RUCs campus he printed for a project a few years ago.
While a simple print - the future is here. Anyone can print objects, not just papers.

Sara getting a small army of robots ready for workshops with high school students (U-Factor and Roskilde Katedralskole). Our cheap research robots have the advantage that students are welcome to hack and modify them.

Laser cutting filter elements from stainless steel net for friends at Department of Science & Environment/Environmental Dynamics. Fablab RUC is to our knowledge the only Fablab in the world where there is a 1.5kW fibre metal laser cutter as part of the standard open access rapid prototyping tools.
