Yeah, this is good. Bestiary that's also a regional setting guide. Each entry puts the monsters on the map in an immediately gameable context. Monsters as regional threats, factions, story hooks. Dare I say "old school" in its approach?

Wrapping up revisions to hacking for Chromatic Shadows Core. Main point of concern has been Daemon Modules. Didn't quite reached their full potential in previous releases. This time, I want them to be so good you'll have a hard time choosing between them. (In progress program action spread below)

Prepping a Shadowdark campaign using my Land of Calyx setting. If this goes well, considering a full conversion from OSE. SD brings some enticing mayhem into the mix, probably a good fit for the psychedelic sword & sorcery vibe.

Ross Hayes has been amazing to work with on Chromatic Shadows Core. Aside from obvious mad skill at drawing, he's a wiz at taking art direction, and then cranking it up several notches. Works fast, answers emails, and is super accommodating to revisions. Total professional!

Revised my combat diagrams to make more sense. The "ranged" example is clear I think. On the fence about the "melee" examples since it doesn't show a blocked LOE, but the first 2 do, so that might be enough. #chromaticshadows #occult #cyberpunk #rttrpg

Still Covid, still grinding on Chromatic Shadows Core layout/ edits/ whatever. Almost through combat! FYI, this game utilizes concealment, cover, and barriers as separate layered mechanics (just in case you thought I was going soft). Here's a WIP spread. Don't get poisoned homies.
