<p>The US on Thursday vetoed for the sixth time a United Nations Security council resolution demanding an immediate, unconditional and permanent ceasefire in Gaza, and that Israel lift all restrictions on the delivery of aid into the enclave.</p>
<p>The resolution received 14 votes in favor - all ten of the rotating members, and four of the permanent members: the UK, France, Russia, and China.</p>
