It’s that time of year again and the ants have decided that it’s cold outside & they don’t like that. They’ve also discovered electronics this year. This jerk is *inside* my monitor & I’m fighting the urge to squish (because it’s *my* monitor).

I keep this photo as a reminder. It’s the door (repaired) that he put a fist through after I escaped the house with him cocking his arm back to punch me. This is at my head level. He was convicted of harassment, not DV, because “he didn’t hit you”.

This is my nephew. He has been battling Ewing Sarcoma for nearly 2 years (October). What I have to say would get me visits from 3 letter agencies. What pisses me off more is that his situation is not unique.

There’s 4 hawks in the trees by my house, at least 2 are fledged chicks. They’re hopping all around the limbs, making short flights, and making a big racket with their whistle calls. They seem to be leaving the chickens alone right now.

I found a friend in my pot of sunchokes. I think this is a 3-gallon pot. Probably the same snake that zipped out in front of my daughter and startled her.

I went to check on the gnome. He was gone, as expected. What was not expected was what appeared to be a rolled up dollar bill secured with two rubber bands. These tracts were inside with two dollar bills. *eyeroll*. Devil figurines are on order. Thanks for the $2.

My pear tree has *2* pears on it (the other one is blurry in the background) it looks bigger than it is in this photo. Now to see if it will still be there when it’s ripe (or if the deer or birds beat me to it like they did with my cherry tree).

What’s this fancy wiring stuff in the general vicinity of my windshield wipers on my 03 Beetle? The wires from the orange piece follow the washer fluid tube into the hood. Sensors? I pulled the cover to argue with the sunroof drains & found these (and a cracked wiper fluid tube - yay!)
