The fact that Republican extremists want to continue to disenfranchise D.C. voters is simply racist.

Make sure your Congresspeople know that you expect them to support statehood for D.C.

Speak out for voting rights. Oppose voter suppression!
Support our campaign to remove MAGA extremists

Did you know the “Big Beautiful Bill” might block free IRS tax filing, deregulate gun silencers, and add red tape to child tax credits? It's not just about taxes—there's a lot packed in. Don’t take my word for it—dig in and see for yourself. 📜🔍 #DoYourResearch

Yeah, Democracy was rough. Not having neighbors rounded up & sent to concentration camps, not wasting $200 mn on a futile bombing raid, not forcing the military to put on a parade for his birthday, not kicking millions off healthcare so oligarchs could pay less tax, not killing cancer research ..

What stood out to me is the last line about Columbia FORCING their criminals into the US. I don't recall hearing about any flights loaded with known criminals being sent to the US by any foreign government. On the other hand, Trump forced 1500 known criminals onto the streets of the US.

It’s even more basic than catching corruption: people don’t know what issues are being debated and decided in their hometown county/city/town councils. It’s difficult to learn about programs at libraries, food pantries, public events.
