astrology can be very hard to talk about with the majority of people (often including other astrologers!) because both its study and practice is deeply intertwined with epistemology, aka how we know what we know and to what extent we can know it. plus, metaphysics, history, and translation!

yesterday i cut my own hair (for the second time ever, first time when it’s long). the chart of the moment was ass (of course) but it felt right and was not a spur-of-the-moment decision. happy to report i am very pleased with it :3

Some people cope with fear and crisis by criticizing how other people cope with fear and crisis. Critics can become organizers when they switch into service/solution mode. You’re attuned to other people’s behavior. Good. That’s useful. It’s just about using your observational skills differently.

a key part of my mars rx story seems to be me realizing how, if i want to stay healthy, i really really need to force myself to relax often. martial things come easy to me and i love challenging and pushing myself, but if i want to live a long & healthy life, i need venusian things!!
