I don’t care how much money, power or immunity a person has, people committing sexual abuse especially of children need to be prosecuted.

This is obscene.

That others in politics can’t or won’t say that this is obscene hits at the heart of the problems we face.

To reduce wealth inequality we could
1. increase tax on the wealthy
2. increase VAT on luxury goods & unhealthy foods/drinks including alcohol.
3. lower the threshold for customs duty on imports.
4. Increase digital services taxes

It’s sickening to think how badly Zelenskyy was treated by Trump and JD Vance whilst Putin, a war criminal, is given such special treatment. It’s also sickening that Trump allows Netanyahu to kill many innocent civilians in Gaza. Trump will be remembered for his support of violent terror.

Trump is reportedly creating a loyalty scorecard that rates how hard corporations work to support his agenda.

His regime is apparently planning to consult the ratings when considering corporate requests.

This is how things work in a dictatorship.

Proportional representation is key along side compulsory voting. Those who don’t know or are not interested can select ‘none of the above’ as this is also an important message to politicians.
“In any properly functioning democracy, gaining 33.7% of the vote would be seen as a defeat. But at last year’s general election, that same result saw Labour win a huge majority. Starmer’s victory’ had the support of just 17.3% of the electorate as a whole”

Compulsory voting alone won’t fix the UK's broken politics
Simply insisting people vote in elections run by a system they rightly distrust will not improve British politics
