Books, cats, beer, ex-library staff, boomer, worried about...almost everything, I think. I have 11 delightful cats(they have me) and I read pretty much all the time. Please don’t DM me if we haven’t chatted beforehand.

I’ve never found tramadol to be at all helpful for pre or post surgical pain. And it has nasty withdrawal if you take it very long.

I’m sad to say I haven’t done any Christmas cards, solstice cards or any other pagan type holiday stuff. Maybe next year? Having a hard time getting into most of it although I am happy to think the days will be getting longer.

I can’t begin to pretend to understand this stuff but the idea of hold an atom, one tiny little atom, with…tweezers is blowing my mind. I sorta remember being taught that atoms were like sooooo small. What a time to live.

Scientists build a quantum computer that can repair itself using recycled atoms
Like their conventional counterparts, quantum computers can also break down. They can sometimes lose the atoms they manipulate to function, which can stop calculations dead in their tracks. But scientists at the US-based firm Atom Computing have demonstrated a solution that allows a quantum computer to repair itself while it's still running.

@peterclines.com About halfway through God’s Junk Drawer. Fun to read a “lost world” type novel with such interesting characters, not to mention Neanderthals, dinosaurs, aliens, mysterious obelisks and grad students. I confess, just started yesterday and really don’t want to put it down. Real book.

I’m in Indy for another dental adventure. When I go home Wednesday I get to do a sleep study, oh boy. At least I should be pretty tired. Stayed at an Airbnb that had pic of walk-in tub. Always wanted to try one. It can only be used as a shower. Not enough hot water Bummed. Ok, otherwise.
