Honored to testify before the Philly City Council today about new legislation to prohibit menopause discrimination! Grateful for the leadership of @ninaahmadphl.bsky.social and the commitment of her colleagues on the Public Health Committee to normalizing menstruation + peri/menopause

If I were AJ I‘d just leave the stadium right now.

No, no it’s not.
Now do we throw the ball to AJ?

Now do we throw the ball to AJ?

That was so close to being an all time moment.

That’s the most understated thing you could say about this pathetic display and play calling.

He's just always game for blowing shit up. "Sure, Neil, I'm in!"

This is powerful.

When you've lost Ezra Klein....

Correct. But there's never a guarantee of anything in law or the Court or the future. Everything is contestable and contested.

To Trump, language is just a way to convey emotion. Words and numbers do not correspond to any fixed meaning or reality in the world.

Pointing out how he fails to use this word or that number correctly is both absolutely essential and utterly banal.

That's just not how he uses language.
I really hate how Trump refers to everything as a "hoax." The "Democrat Shutdown Hoax?" The government was shut down. It wasn't a "hoax." Demented shithead.
Now we have Trump blasting air traffic controllers, telling them they hate this country for not showing up without pay.

"I am NOT HAPPY WITH YOU. You didn’t step up to help the U.S.A. against the FAKE DEMOCRAT ATTACK... You will have a negative mark, at least in my mind, against your record."

Good! But not at all surprising. The media run-up to this was unnecessarily inflammatory.
Breaking news: The Supreme Court has declined to consider a challenge to its landmark 2015 ruling that legalized same-sex marriage nationwide.

The challenge came from a county clerk who stopped issuing marriage licenses shortly after the ruling.
Supreme Court won’t hear challenge to landmark gay marriage ruling
The announcement indicates there is not an appetite among the high court’s conservative majority to revisit one of the court’s most significant decisions in recent years.

Rule of people, not of law.

We need to understand that and act accordingly.

Exactly right.
American politics makes a lot more sense when you realize that the GOP is afraid of pissing off the GOP base, and the Dems are afraid of pissing off the GOP base, but neither party is afraid of pissing off the Dem base.
NEW: President Trump pardons Rudy Giuliani and others involved in efforts to overturn the 2020 election, Trump's pardon attorney says.

The pardons may be largely symbolic as none of the people listed were convicted of federal crimes, which the presidential pardon covers.

So does the House have to come back in session finally? Meaning swearing in the new AZ rep and forcing the Epstein vote?

Exactly what compassionate, good-hearted people do.

If only there were reporters interested in covering the limits of aging Presidents. Too bad no one has experience on that beat!
So the oldest person ever to become president keeps falling asleep in his office during public events and there’s no big public discussion on how this is a coverup or how republicans are lying to us about how this government is running?

It was right there in the Seneca Falls Declaration!

I am in law school espousing my antifeminist views thanks to the work of feminists who came before me, who I disagree with. Thus, I am a feminist.

"If I thought the executive branch had overstepped by suspending the Constitution and turning our country into a monarchy, I would've stepped in. That's my job. That didn't happen because I love King Trump and will do anything for his approval."

The voice of reason on the right? 🤯
Marjorie Taylor Greene: "It's absolutely the worst political move to have the House in recess & for us to not be here working...there's a lot of disenfranchised 2024 voters & that was obvious in Tuesday's election. I'm from Georgia & we lost 2 statewide Public Commission seats & lost them heavily."
